CAVING DIRECTORY. This web site was originally known as the UK Caving Virtual Foyer or Caving Directory - an entry point to some caving web-sites in the UK. However, the original purpose of this site (back in 1994) has been eclipsed by the huge success of Google, the success of the many web sites belonging to other individuals and caving clubs, and most recently by the initiative of the UK's caving community to produce a Caving Wiki. I havent got the time to maintain this site to the degree that I would like, so it has now been carefully dismantled and the bytes recycled and used elsewhere.
